Mourners have been gathering at the gates of Kensington Palace since dawn to lay floral tributes and personal messages, with many breaking down in tears as they remembered the late royal. Throughout the day, the sea of tributes has grown proving that the influence of the woman dubbed 'the People's Princess' is as strong as ever on the 20th anniversary of her death. Her friend Sir Elton John, 70, led the tributes tributes to the Princess of Wales by posting a picture on Instagram of the pair together, with his arm around the Princess writing: '20 years ago today, the world lost an angel.
